Role: NodeJs Backend Developer Job Location : Fully Remote Duration: Fulltime/ Permanent Direct Client requirement NodeJs Backend Developer: Client is currently seeking a talented full stack developer to join our team of talented staff in helping to modernize how citizens interact with their national forests. Your contributions as a developer will make a real impact and be meaningful in helping to enhance citizens engagement and involvement to forests and help protect our national forests and grasslands. Responsibilities: Design and build serverless applications in the cloud Design, code, test, and deploy the back end of our customer-facing application using NodeJS, GitHub, Postgres, and AWS Services (e.g. S3, API Gateway, Aurora, Lambda, PostGres) Work with mobile app developers to interface with native app features Work with Architects and other Engineers to help create and then implement development best practices Work with test engineering team to assure product quality Collaborate in a fast-paced Agile environment Participate in team code reviews and design reviews Help our support team triage bugs and troubleshoot production issues Cooperating with the front-end developer in the process of building the Angular UI Work independently to design, develop, and document solutions, while adhering to all applicable standards (e.g., architectural, coding, security) Requirements: Minimum 5+ years proven software developer experience. Minimum 3+ years proven experience working in AWS Cloud BS/MS in Computer Science or a related discipline Experience working with the following technologies on a Cloud platform: NodeJS, Postgres and AWS Services. Experience with Object Relational Mapping tools (Sequelize) will be a plus.
