Our client, a leading Material Handling company, is seeking an Operator 1, Warehouse Operations to join their team. As an Operator 1, Warehouse Operations, you will be part of the Warehouse Team supporting the receipt, shipment, movement, manufacture, or control of raw materials, product, recyclable materials, and waste. Perform activities related to the receipt, preparing shipments, packaging, control of raw materials and finished product, recyclable materials, and waste.
Operate equipment/machinery when necessary. Prioritize work based on customer needs in a team environment.
Prepare and maintain a variety of records and documents including shipping documents and sales orders.
Document raw materials and finished goods inventories. Foster continuous improvement in training and all other areas of team performance.
Integrate Quality Systems in all Function/Activities.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED required.
Basic PC Skills and using Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word, Outlook). Knowledge in the basic use of data collection devices. Understanding of transactional data within an MRP system as it relates to inventory movements.
Adequate math skills.
Requires the demonstrated ability to interpret and comprehend specifications, procedures, and use measuring devices and tools.
Must be able to successfully pass training/licensing requirements of federal or local regulatory programs to the position, if required.
