Oracle E-Business Suite applications ConsultantThis is an experienced position for the Oracle Finance Applications team within the Global Information Services organization.The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical expertise and support to client's Corporate and Business Segment organizationsby providing solutions across client's Oracle E-Business Suite application environments.Location: Pittsburg, PADuration: 12 Months Plus - Contract W2Rate: DOEEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.JOB DESCRIPTION:The incumbent will initially be responsible for leading a project to replace existing global reporting software.This involves working through the software selection process for a new reporting tool to be used for operational reporting and data analysis;engaging key stakeholders across the business/corporate functions in the software selection to identify key requirements,deploying the reporting tool globally against client's Oracle E-Business Suite applications, and establishing governance and support processes.RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for leading a global project team geographically dispersed across many time zones to replace an outdated reporting tool with a newly selected tool Understands the technology required to deploy new reporting software against the Oracle E-Business Suite Applications Works with the selected vendor and procurement to secure licenses per client's requirements Creates a plan for converting existing reports for all 4 Oracle E-Business suite environments. Oversees installation and configuration of software to meet the requirements. Responsible for deploying the new reporting tool to developers and end-users and providing training Establishes and maintains an effective working relationship across the organization, with Business Segments and Corporate IT leadership as well as other key stakeholders Builds strong relationships with IT partners software vendors and consulting resources to implement the infrastructure and software technology for self-service reporting tools Follows client's Project Management Methodology, which includes project planning and tracking, budgeting, resource management, communications, status reporting and internal customer relations Ensures client's IT standards, procedures and change control methodology is being followed. Act as the primary point of contact for escalation of technical reporting issues and assisting other global IT resources in the development of reports Accountable for the support delivered through 3rd parties Provides timely, accurate, and required documentation as neededSKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing IT projects, demonstrating a solid understanding in project management methodologies and techniques. Experience in using or developing reports and/or data analytics tools against ERP systems or data warehouses experience with Oracle Discoverer is a plus Experience with reporting technologies 3+ years of experience working with any of the Oracle e-Business Suite applications Experience with Oracle R12, Oracle databases, PL/SQL, SQL Solid understanding of the system development life cycle Must be able to provide work direction to small teams.
