GHS is looking for serious high school and college students who are looking to further their education in the field of energy efficiency, environmental science, marketing, sales, or engineering. We work with utility companies, state programs, and federal programs all promoting energy efficiency in NJ, NY, and DE and are looking for those who want to get real work experience in the energy efficiency and sustainability market. Learn how to make homes and buildings more energy efficient and design models to show how we can all be more energy efficient. Work in the field learning how to conduct energy audits and/or at home modeling scenarios to lead our clients to be more energy efficient. Work directly with utility company programs and see the real life executions of the state and local utility programs geared to building a cleaner and more energy efficient environment. We have a great incentive structure and are willing to train. What we offer you through the G.H.S paid Internship:

College credits for multiple majors (if you are currently enrolled)

$30.00 per hour appointment

What is your role as an Intern? We are looking for serious applicants who are in pursuit of furthering their education in energy/environmental science fields, marketing, sales, or engineering. As you are learning how to make homes and businesses more energy efficient you will also be designing building models, undergoing mock trials of the energy auditing process, performing diagnostic tests, signing utility customers up for the free in home energy audit and presenting them with comprehensive work scopes that are funded by gas and electric companies throughout New Jersey and recently by the federal government as well. This in turn will further educate you in the field. You will be working directly with energy efficiency incentive programs from the; Department of Energy, Public Utility Commission and several gas and electric companies throughout New Jersey. You will get to see the real-life executions of the federal and local utility programs geared toward building a cleaner and more energy efficient environment. During this process we want our applicants to be outgoing, motivated, and personable in achieving these goals not only as a representative for themselves and their educational institution but for our company as well. Energy Auditor Requirements and Qualifications

Must have consistent access to a reliable vehicle, Extra consideration if it is yours

Strong verbal communication skills

Must hold state driver's license

Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations

Must be highly motivated and personable
