Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated Paralegal in our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. This role primarily focuses on client intake coordination, supporting the management of new client matters, and assisting in the smooth workflow within the office. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of attorneys and paralegals, demonstrating excellent communication skills, strong organization skills, and the ability to work independently.Responsibilities: Participate in client onboarding and initial client engagement, including handling initial intake calls, preparing and collecting engagement letters, and communicating directly with clients regarding any initial questions and concerns. Manage the complete client onboarding process from initial client contact through client engagement, handling necessary follow-up based on firm processes and protocols. Set up new matters in the firm’s practice management software, assist with maintaining practice management databases, and generate reports to assist with the coordination, triage, and assignment of new matters to firm attorneys and paralegals. Collaborate closely with and support the managing partner in onboarding new clients and delegating and assigning matters, assisting in facilitating smooth workflow within the office. Coordinate and handle conflict checks within the firm. Work independently and as a key member of the legal team, working closely with the firm's managing partner and other attorneys in the office as well as clients and other third parties. Utilize a variety of software and systems, including Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Microsoft Excel, and other tools relevant to paralegal duties. Manage various administrative tasks, including calendar management, claim administration, complaint handling, and client intake processes. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Case Management Software Experience with LexisNexis and Management System is required Proficient in billing functions within a legal context Ability to produce legal briefs and handle client intake Experience in calendar management and claim administration Proficiency in complaint handling Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle confidential information Bachelor's degree in Law or related field is preferred.
