THE POSITION

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has a need for a responsible person willing to work for Maurice K Goddard State Park. In this position, you will provide public safety work in the operations and outdoor recreation in order to promote the safe utilization of facilities at the park. You will also facilitate the rules and regulations of the park to visitors. You will be responsible for keeping first aid kits and fire extinguishers up to date and will be expected to respond to emergency situations around the park. Shift hours and days may vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch.

Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirements:All positions require possession of an active motor vehicle license.

All employees must obtain valid certification in standard first aid and adult, child, and infant CPR approved by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or equivalent within 60 days of employment.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.

Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
