Job Title: Part-Time Driver and Warehouse Assistant

Location: Etna, PA

Pay: $20/hour

Hours: Maximum of 16 hours per week

We are seeking a reliable and punctual Part-Time Driver and Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Etna, PA. The primary responsibilities include driving a company box truck or pickup truck to transport goods and assisting with warehouse duties as needed. About us:

Small, family owned company in business for over 40 years

Main warehouse located in Etna, PA, with overflow warehouse 5 minutes away.

You will be delivering to job sites and contractor shops or picking up stock orders around the Pittsburgh area.

Most deliveries/pick-ups within one hour of Pittsburgh

Majority of deliveries will be palletized or boxed

Key Responsibilities:

Driving and Delivery:

Safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks and pickup trucks.

Ensure timely and professional delivery and pick-up of items.

Follow all traffic laws and practice safe driving habits (no texting, adhering to speed limits, etc.).

Warehouse Support:

Assist with warehouse duties when not driving. (There may be long stretches when you are in the warehouse and not driving. Must be willing to learn warehouse basics and assist as needed)

Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and lift gates to load/unload items.

Organize and manage inventory as needed.

Requirements:

Experience & Skills:

Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

No CDL required.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience with warehouse duties and equipment operation is a plus, but not required

Must pass a physical exam, background check, and provide references.

Position includes a 90-day probationary period.

Other:

Must be punctual and dependable.

Company T-shirts and sweatshirts will be provided.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time position with a maximum of 16 hours per week, with no benefits.

If this position transitions to full-time, full benefits will be offered, but full-time availability in the future is not guaranteed.
