Description We are in the process of hiring a Part Time Programs Coordinator, operating in the industry of community services, based in EASTON, Pennsylvania. This role is a short term contract employment opportunity that involves a wide range of tasks including administrative duties, data management, program coordination, and participant engagement.Responsibilities:
Efficiently execute the planning and implementation of interactive and enriching activities with a focus on food & nutrition, social interaction, arts & crafts, technology, entertainment, and wellness resources.
Actively maintain an inviting and lively environment that prompts social interaction and participation.
Collaborate effectively with community organizations and nonprofit partners to augment program offerings and secure necessary resources.
Oversee the preparation of weekly lunch schedules, which includes meal ordering, coffee brewing, and ensuring the safety of food.
Foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere where senior participants feel valued and connected.
Offer comprehensive referral services for seniors requiring health, wellness, or social support resources.
Advocate for seniors by linking them with community services, benefits, and emergency help.
Collect and record attendance, demographic data, and feedback surveys for the purpose of grant reporting and program improvement.
Maintain up-to-date records and documentation, including program notes, reports, and client interactions.
Requirements
Minimum of two years’ experience in community engagement, program management, or social services.
Positive, energetic demeanor with the ability to create an engaging atmosphere for older adults.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse groups.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while fostering partnerships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence utilizing digital tools.
A genuine passion for improving the quality of life for older adults and enhancing community wellness.
