Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Patient Service Representative in the healthcare industry, specifically located in RADNOR, Pennsylvania. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be a key player in enhancing patient satisfaction and care by managing information, answering and triaging calls, and providing essential patient care information.Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for patients and visitors, offering a friendly and welcoming environment Verify and update insurance information for both new and existing patients, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records Obtain necessary service authorizations from insurers, facilitating seamless patient care Register patients upon arrival, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and information is accurate Demonstrate strong management skills through effective prioritization, organization, and completion of responsibilities Keep track of daily statistics and maintain relevant records Schedule patient visits effectively and efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of operations Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues, providing high-quality customer service Use skills in Data Entry and Patient Registration to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate smooth operations.Requirements Possesses strong data entry skills with high attention to detail Has experience or familiarity with patient registration procedures Able to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality Capable of providing excellent customer service, including handling patient inquiries and complaints Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously Familiar with medical terminology and health insurance policies Possesses basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Demonstrates strong organizational skills Has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Displays empathy and understanding when dealing with patients' concerns Exhibits problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
