- Must have experience with ADP and HCM with 5 to 10 years of experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of company payroll system and procedures.
- Detailed knowledge of company policies, procedures and programs and labor union contracts.
- Advanced knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws and government payroll regulations.
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve performance, effectiveness and increase knowledge base.
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations including percentages, fractions, averages or other formulas; compile and array data in a readable and comprehensible manner.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to prepare specialized and complex payroll worksheets and reports.
- Ability to execute payroll system procedures independently or with general supervision and direction.
- Exercises discretion, judgment, and tact in the processing of payroll documentation or information of a confidential or sensitive nature.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Problem solving, analysis and research skills and attention to detail.
- Strong personal computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft Excel to analyze and compare data
