Payroll Specialist

Description We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to become an integral part of our healthcare team in BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania. The primary function of this role is to manage payroll operations for a sizable team, utilize payroll software, and ensure accurate timekeeping. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment.Responsibilities: Manage payroll operations for a large number of employees Efficiently utilize payroll software, excluding Quicken/Quickbooks, for accurate payroll processing Monitor and maintain electronic timekeeping for all employees Prepare payroll tax in compliance with regulatory standards Proactively address and resolve all payroll-related inquiries from employees Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping of all payroll-related documents Monitor employee accounts and take necessary actions when required.For immediate consideration please apply directly to job posting or call 610-882-1600Requirements Familiarity with the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry. Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist. Demonstrable skill and knowledge in managing payroll functions. Proficient in payroll tax procedures. Strong knowledge and experience in timekeeping. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills. Excellent problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in using payroll software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. High level of integrity and professionalism. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or relevant field is preferred.
