Job SummaryThe Pricebook Administrator will assist with a new enterprise resource planning system for GetGo. As Pricebook Administrator, strong organizational and record-keeping skills are essential. This position will support Category Managers in achieving category goals through the management of pricing, promotions, and rebates. Along with their teammates they will be responsible for data integrity in the master item file, vendor costs, base price and promotion retail prices, vendor funding programs, and reporting. This position ensures that all item data flows correctly from the merchant or vendor to the store by researching and resolving problems with supplier costs, invoices, incorrect promotions, and items not scanning at point of sale.Job Description

  • Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
  • Experience Desired: Experience working in retail or in an office environment, data analysis, Experience with PDI software or similar ERP solution
  • Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Education Desired: Bachelors Degree

Job Responsibilities
  • Act as a gatekeeper for incoming data to the master item file. Add new items and vendor invoices via specific electronic import formats or manual entry. Research discrepancies as needed. Adhere to consistent formatting standards for item attributes in pricebook system (e.g., description, product hierarchy, size, brand name. Help document style guides used by the broader team
  • Work with merchandising, retail operations, marketing, accounting, store planning and other internal stakeholders to implement and execute strategies
  • Execute retail pricing strategies developed by Merchandising. Set margin rules and manage temporary price reductions and other promotion events. Develop an understanding of state minimum and other contractual pricing rules for tobacco and beer/wine items
  • Maintain store traits, product attributes, and item authorizations and acquire knowledge of all categories inside the store
  • Oversee deal and ad management including deal central, promotion manager, drag and drop, and ad proofing as well as the future versions of these systems
  • Maintain Vendor Contract billing to ensure all contractual agreements, including rebates, accruals, and exclusivity fees are reviewed in a timely manner and billed accordingly
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Pricebook Manager
