The candidate will be proactive technical customer facing with ground systems domain knowledge with software development lifecycle experience using Agile methodology. The candidate will interact with Government Point of Contacts (GPOC) and manage a backlog for the Research and Development team. Our Engineers provide technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other Engineering personnel. They perform technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases, defining system interfaces. The candidate will provide engineering support and technical direction for the implementation of a portion of the program’s systems engineering program. Work Location (one of the following): Aurora, CO, State College, PA; Richardson, TX or Dulles/Sterling, VARelocation assistance available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirementsSecurity Clearance: An Active and In-Scope TS/SCI U.S. Security ClearanceRequired Skills: Experience as a Product Owner within Agile software development

Ground systems domain knowledge

Experience managing a backlog of tasks for a team

Experience interacting with Government Point of Contacts (GPOC)Desired Skills: Experience in Systems Engineering leadership

Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract

Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software and Integration teamsEducation and Experience Requirements: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations Employee Referral Award Eligibility: Only employees currently within RMD and RI S have the potential to receive a Referral Award for submitting a referral to RMD and RIS roles.
