Responsible for assisting the Radiology department and its Technologists in providing excellence in customer service while expediting patient throughput. The Tech Aide will assist with preparing imaging rooms, setting up for imaging studies, and escorting and transferring of patients. They will assist in getting patients changed/dressed prior to their imaging studies and assist patients with scheduling questionnaires. It will be the responsibility of the Tech Aide to warmly greet patients and provide any required explanation and instruction prior to their study.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for escorting patients throughout the Radiology department.

Greets all outpatients, dresses them appropriately for their Radiology exam.

Responsible for keeping patient Imaging Rooms well stocked.

Assist patients in dressing room if needed.

Assists Radiology Technologists in transferring and lifting patients.

Credentials:Education or Equivalent Experience:

H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
