As a Procurement Specialist 3, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that contracts and grants are properly planned, developed, and reviewed. This includes overseeing documents that involve large sums of money and impact a large number of individuals. You will be responsible for providing analytical and consultative support in the procurement process, including for complex and politically charged projects, such as IT-related contracts and grants. This work will involve developing statements of work, determining pricing structures, setting performance measures, and evaluating proposals. You will be an essential part of the team in finalizing contract and grants that will ultimately serve the needs of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and its constituents.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment (37.50-hour work week)
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. The telework schedule is 3 days a week in the office for the first four weeks and after successful completion, one day a week in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Procurement Specialist 2 (commonwealth title); orTwo years of professional experience performing contract management work; and a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, project, or operations management, or a related field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
