Pure Integration is looking for a Product Manager with proven success in delivering digital products & services.As a Senior Product Manager , you will change the way people think about and watch tv. You'll join a team that is rapidly changing the landscape of TV. In particular, you'll be working on how customers stream app-based content from top content.As typical in product management leadership, you operate at the intersection between engineering, design, and the business. In this role, you will collaborate with a number of other support teams throughout the company such as our third party app developer platform and metadata services team. You'll help translate 3rd party app content into a first class discovery and viewing experience.Type of Role : Fulltime Contract W2 HourlyLocation : 100% Remote untill September, then possibly onsite in PhiladelphiaWork Authorization: We Do Not Sponsor H1B Visas. No C2C Relationships. Responsibilities:- Successfully improve the platform for our customers by collaborating with other product managers and colleagues from design, development, business, marketing, editorial, support, legal, and operations to our subscribers analyze, develop and manage product requirements.
- Assist in defining and driving product strategy and delivery for our client device platform. Balance focus between near-term (within next 6 months) and the long term (1-2 years out). Challenge the status quo.
- Understand both internal, business and end user customers by working with research, understanding quantitative metrics, and by spending time yourself with customers directly, including understanding how they use competitive offerings.
- Keep the organization informed of what you and your team is doing. Communicate with executives & stakeholders on product usage & performance and gather feedback.
- Passion for video entertainment and apps, whether it's live TV, movies, YouTube clips, games or something else.
- 5 to 8 years of technical product management experience.
- Prior experience with embedded device operating systems, hardware and firmware interfaces and APIs, good understanding of application lifecycle and process management, audio/video pipeline resource management, current and upcoming media codec formats and standards
- Strong analytical & strategic planning skills; know when perfect is the enemy of good
- Ability to make decisions quickly and independently; good shipped, is better than perfect on paper
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of interacting with customers, Senior Leadership and 3rd party partners on complex topics
- Comfortable working and driving a fast paced agile environment.
- Prior experience with developing operating systems, applications, application platforms or content platforms for set top boxes, connected TVs or gaming consoles
