Our client’s platform operated on a single technology stack allowing for the ability to scale globally.This Product Owner is a DIRECT HIRE role! Our client is looking for candidates who can work a hybrid work model, traveling to Philadelphia HQ Office 1-2 times per month!

Primary Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Foster strong relationships with the major card brands and Acquirers to ensure our product aligns with the payment industry mandates and standards
  • Strategize with internal stakeholders to advance the payment gateway capabilities domestically and internationally
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Define product vision, road map and growth opportunities
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Research and analyze the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product

Required Skills & Experience
  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner for 2-5 years
  • MA in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar relevant field
  • Previous working experience with Azure DevOps
  • Strong Payment Industry knowledge
  • Knowledge of Alternative Payment Methods (APMs)
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
