Product Scientific Specialist

Our Client's Global Scientific Content Vaccine and Infectious Diseases team is seeking a talented Scientific Content Writer to join our team. In this role, you will create scientific and medical content based on disease and product data for distribution to key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in the medical and scientific industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a scientific field
  • Minimum of 2 years of medical writing experience with a preference for work in a global medical information group
  • Strong writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, EndNote, and Veeva Vault MedComms
  • Effective literature searching, fact-checking, and data summarization skills
  • Knowledge of Vaccine and Infectious Diseases/Products
Responsibilities:

  • Create and update medical information letters, slide decks, and FAQs based on monthly expiration reports and new data releases
  • Plan content development in collaboration with team members
  • Conduct independent literature searches to identify relevant new information
  • Interpret and accurately incorporate data into relevant documents using strong writing and editing skills
  • Solve problems associated with the scope of work and seek advice from management and team members as needed
  • Be flexible and adaptable in adjusting to new assignments while maintaining organization and meeting deadlines
This is a 6-month position with the possibility of extension, and can be fully remote or in-person as needed in Upper Gwynedd, PA or Rahway, NJ. The ideal candidate is self-driven, flexible, organized, pays attention to detail and accuracy, and able to complete assignments in a timely manner.
