Project ManagerMalvern PA Duties and Responsibilities Enable Retail SI project managers and their teams in achieving high quality and timely delivery of business value to clients via the Retail major and minor releases for Vanguard’s Personal Investors website (internal and external) Collaborate closely with Key IT and Business partners in leading and coordinating dependency management, project plans, scrum of scrum meetings, and monitor, track, and drive project progress. Develop cross team release plans and lead and monitor deployment as needed during off hours and weekends. Monitor track, and drive testing progress against release level integration and system test plans. Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers. Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups. Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and impediments and any related issues on technology projects. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate. Coordinate cross team discussions with vendors as needed. - Financial Services and technical experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering) required.
- Experience using Jira to manage multi-team IT project initiatives
- Experience working on project with a vendor dependency preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of the following IT project management practices and concepts:
- Release Management experience
- Project Manager experience
- Agile software development / scrum
- Software integration testing
