They will be responsible for developing and coordinating activities around a recently funded NSF grant to train doctoral students in the research enterprise. It is a Grade: 10 - 40, offering an approximate salary of $65,290-$79,430 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications. Lead activities for NSF Granted initiative to train graduate students in the research enterprise. (50%) Work with the PI and project team to plan, organize and execute the Pathways for Graduate Students Lead recruitment of graduate student participants through workshops, department visits and individual meetings. Lead the development of learning modules for program participants including working with PI and co-PIs to ensure content is accurate, ensuring consistency of format and branding, and consulting on effectiveness. Manage and develop relationships with external partner institutions on the grant including meetings with the advisory board. Develop activities to build a cohort among trainees, including workshops, social events and feedback sessions. Work with the internal project evaluator to ensure data is collected for outcomes assessment. Manage financials for the grant, including hiring paperwork for graduate assistants and interns paid on the grant. Assist PI in meeting reporting requirements in coordination with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.

Lead support activities of the current university research centers reporting to the Office of Vice Provost for Research and onboarding of future centers. (40%) Provide strategic research planning support including benchmarking potential opportunities and connecting with partners and consultants. Plan and facilitate workshops and events, including follow up with Lehigh faculty and external partners to grow further research collaboration. Manage large scale proposal efforts for the centers including connecting with internal resources, external consultants, and faculty/staff at partnering institutions. Liaison with external partners and act as point of contact for industry, community institutions and other entities. Connect with offices on campus to coordinate university wide support for communications and fundraising for the centers.

Research development support (10%) Support proposal development outside of research centers. Assist in planning workshops for faculty and postdoctoral trainees.
