Job description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Lead with over 8 years of proficiency in Python programming. This is a hands-on lead role, not a fully managerial role.The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of important Python libraries and frameworks and demonstrate a solid ability to use them effectively. They should be adept at using libraries for calling REST APIs, connecting to relational databases, performing SQL and PL/SQL queries, working with various NoSQL databases, optimizing script performance, and proficiently handling complex JSON structures and data manipulations and writing custom or generic scripts as reusable componentsResponsibilities:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop robust and scalable Python applications and scripts with a focus on performance optimization.
Use Python libraries to call REST APIs and handle responses efficiently.
Create scripts to establish connections with relational databases (RDBMS) and implement SQL and PL/SQL queries.
Design and implement scripts to interact with diverse NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Radis etc. seamlessly.
Develop custom or generic scripts as reusable components to be integrated into various applications.
Employ efficient data structures and algorithms to write clear and concise scripts, considering performance implications.
Work proficiently with complex JSON structures, performing data manipulations and transformations efficiently.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform code reviews, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for optimization.
Fix and debug issues in existing Python applications.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Python and related technologies.
Document code, processes, and procedures effectively.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Python development.
Proficiency in Python programming language and its standard libraries.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating them into Python applications.
Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including writing SQL and PL/SQL queries.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proven understanding of data structures and algorithms to write clear, concise, and performant scripts.
Proficiency in working with complex JSON structures and performing data manipulations efficiently.
Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
