QA Analyst

Pittsburgh, PA (hybrid model - primarily remote!)

12 month contractCEI is looking for a QA Analyst to join our energy client's team! In this role, you'll join an established and growing team and be able to grow with a reputable company.

Overview:
  • Candidate must possess knowledge of Quality Assurance/DevOps Best Practices and Standards and be able to apply that knowledge.
  • Evaluates and tests new or modified applications.
  • Reviews new or modified applications including documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts, to determine if program will perform according to user stories/requirements and conform to guidelines.
  • May review application logs to identify program processing errors.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop test cases and test scripts, based on project requirements/user stories
  • Execute test cases manually
  • Identify and develop regression test cases
  • Report on test results, entering defects as necessary
  • Assist in the triage of defect resolution
  • Create and manage all test data
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver the end product

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • 4+ years of relevant experience required

Skills Required:
  • Prior experience in working with customer-facing applications web/mobile
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure required
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work on Agile projects
  • C# and Python preferred
