You will provide lead QA test engineer expertise, experience, and guidance with focus on build out and execution of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure as well as automation of our most critical user interfaces using either Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. This also includes providing automated and manual QA business functional testing of our most highly visible core trading systems of clients US Options markets.You will use tools to report issues and consistently track status using Jira and Confluence.You will provide automated and manual functional testing of our most high visibility products. You will help design QA test plans for new projects, and ensure that testing procedures are consistently followed. You will bring an ample degree of Financial Services industry knowledge to your position, which will help you in implementing a testing methodology maximized to the needs of the group. You are an excellent communicator.Automated and manual QA testing of Amazon Web Services cloud setup, configuration, and execution.Automated and manual business functional testing of Clients Options core trading system features.Writing, reviewing, and updating product QA test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and scenarios using Confluence and standard documentation (Word, Excel, etc) methods.All tiers of testing manual, automated, front-end, and back-end.Execution of test plans, automated test scripts and test cases to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications, and/or client requirements.Reporting bugs and tracking status using Jira and Confluence.Work closely with development, product development, and operations departments to ensure quality and timely services are delivered to clients.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years experience with QA testing or related functions (required)
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge and hands-on experience using Amazon Web Services (required).
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools ie: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (required).
  • Experience with LINUX command-line environments (required)
  • Experience with financial industry messaging protocols ie: FIX (required)
  • Experience with Java and JavaScript programming (preferred)
  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Management (preferred)
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a creative thinker.
  • Self-motivated (self-starter) and intellectually curious.
  • Ability to adapt and execute in a dynamic environment, adjusting appropriately to changes to business, resource, or product priorities.
