Location: Philadelphia, PA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer III

Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. Requires a bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager

This job will have the following responsibilities
  • Will be testing in production and non-production environment
  • Responsible for covering their own releases
  • Will be putting together test data writing orders, building user ids, etc. all themselves
  • Tech Stack the team is using: Appian, Selenium, C#, Java (Selenium for UI, API testing in C# code, drive business logic with Girkin)
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 3-5 years of Automation experience (Selenium w either C# or Java) - must be doing 75%+ of automation daily
  • Ability to code in either C# or Java (C# preferred but Java is translatable) - maintain clean & changeable code
  • Ability to mentor others/would be able to answer questions from level I & II QAs with full understanding of application and interfaces
  • Must have either Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or have significant experience to replace it
  • Communication and Accountability are key and eager to learn personality will win out- will be asking many hypotheticals to learn how their thought process
