CEI’s Fortune 30 Client in Media and Telecommunications is looking for a Quality Assurance Software Development Engineer to add to their team. They are looking to add another test engineer to round out the team and work on test automation efforts. Job at a glance:

  • Long term contract with potential for extension and/or permanent placement
  • Pay rate ranges from $45- $55/hr W2 + optional benefits (flexible based on experience)
  • Hybrid based in Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities:
  • Assist another QA/SDET resources and focus primarily on test automation and manual QA
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to plans and schedules, identify delivery risks, and obtain/drive mitigation strategies and solutions
  • Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
  • Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes
  • Develop and write test cases/scripts, test case automation and test executions to ensure the delivery of quality software applications
  • Document all problems and assist in their resolution
Required Skills:
  • 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar
  • Mandatory skills – Java and JavaScript and familiarity with various automation test frameworks particularly Cucumber, communication skills
  • Needs both MANUAL and AUTOMATION Testing experience
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with a team
