We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Quality Engineer to join our Treasury Services Client Platform Engineering - BAASteam. This role is located in Pittsburg-HYBRID

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Primary Skills

10+ years of related experience is required.

Functional Testing (Smoke/Regression/Integration)

API testing - Rest Assured/Post man

Development of Test Strategy, Plan and approach document

SME in leading projects across agile teams

Exposure to Behavior Driven Development (BDD) framework using Cucumber

Proficiency in automation frameworks (e.g., Java, Selenium, Playwright, TestNG)

Agile Delivery

Defect Life Cycle, Testing metrics and Status reports

Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and integrating testing with tools like Jenkins, GitLab

Experience with Git or similar version control systems

Secondary skills

JIRA - Zephyr

BrowserStack

Mobile Testing & automation

ETL Testing

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and testing cloud-based environments.

Mentoring / Coaching team membersTo be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Strong project management skills to handle timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation while managing multiple quality initiatives and projects.

Promotes Shift Left Approach in close collaboration with the Application Development Teams

Strong ability to drive automation initiatives, selecting appropriate tools and ensuring automation is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline. Solve complex automation challenges that impact a lot of business areas

Continuously improves the Efficiency of the Automation using innovative technologies & thought process in multiple QE Domain Areas

Setting and tracking key quality metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, mean time to detect/resolve defects) to measure the effectiveness of QE activities.

Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate quality metrics, strategy, and issues to senior management, developers, and non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency in identifying the root cause of quality issues and implementing preventive measures across teams and processes

Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI/ML in testing, cloud platforms, and DevOps advancements to drive innovation within the QE team

Experience in managing budgets, including tool licenses, team salaries, and investments in quality-related initiatives.
