Kieffer at gkieffer@pennstatehealth.psu.edu (MAILTO://gkieffer@pennstatehealth.psu.edu)Remote PositionSUMMARY OF POSITION:The Radiology Scheduler initiates the revenue cycle process for routine and complex outpatient radiological appointments including but not limited to: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and Mammography. The incumbent is responsible for scheduling and/or coordinating all components of a radiological study which includes the modality, contrast, anesthesia, and follow up clinic visits. Accurate scheduling ensures delivery of ordered clinical care, optimal reimbursement, minimal denials and a positive patient financial experience.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

High School Diploma or equivalent

One (1) year relevant experience

Six (6) months of customer service experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Medical health insurance knowledge

Medical terminology

Revenue Cycle experience

Associates or higher degree

Computer Skills
