3rd Shift - Core Cutter

Our client, the world's largest prime label company, is seeking a Core Cutter to join their team. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, good with measurements, great attention to detail, good attendance and a desire to grow which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Core CutterLocation: York, PAPay Range: $17.50 (Plus a $2.00 premium)Shift: 3rd shift (11pm-7am)What’s the Job?

Read job ticket carefully before cutting the required cores needed for the job

Set specifications on the machine (measurement accuracy and attention to detail required)

Adjust/Attach slitting blades to the machine

Responsible for cleanliness of machinery

Light maintenance of machinery

Able to walk 2-3 miles a day

Responsible for working overtime when needed and as assigned

Attend to labels needing rework

Inspect, remove and/or replace all defects, properly re-splice the roll, stamp each role

What’s Needed?

High school education or equivalent

Previous machine experience helpful

Strong attention to detail

Ability to read a ruler and understand measurements (able to pass a ruler test)

Ability correctable to 20/20 (able to pass an eye test)

Ability to input data in the computer

Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructions

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Positive attitude, team player
