See below and apply now! Description: This position is for a strong react developer to help lead the development of SimChart. The candidate is expected to take business requirements, develop solutions and deliver them into production. This role will be involved in all of the steps of the software life cycle and ideally helping the team improve through active participation in sprints and agile ceremonies. There is a lot of autonomy with this role and the candidate will have the ability to influence many parts of the process and code.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FROM HIRING MANAGER: 1. To get started, can you give me a quick overview of your team and what you do? We are looking for a Software Engineer Level 3 with react and front end experience. This roles will be more code focused then design focused. We are building an EHR (electronic health record ) to be used in the class room for nursing students. Currently we are still developing more charts and features for this product. It has recently launched and is still in active development, so long way to say that this is not a maintenance role. 2. The person who will be successful in this role will be somebody who? Wants to be part of a development team making a new product. We are looking for someone who wants to write lots of code and help shape the code base and practices to be the best possible. This role will be perfect for someone that is a self-starter and sees things wrong, and then raises the issue and brings solutions. We are big on letting all team members change the way we do things. 3. What would you say are the TOP 3 must-have skills you're looking for? (Measurable skills, technologies, etc.) a.) React experience b.) Solid OOP skills c.) TypeScript (preferred) 4. How many years of experience are you looking for? 3-5 years+ 5. Does your team work standard core hours or does that vary? We are flexible but typically between 9-4 for our us based team. 6. Do you need someone with a particular degree or certification? Computer science degree (or equivalent) is a plus, but boot camp training with equivalent work experience is ok too. 7. What are some of the performance indicators you'll be looking for once this person ramps up? Just that the person is becoming a regular contributor to the code base and completing stories. 8.
