Our team leads many internal applications from Salesforce, Order to Cash, Order Fulfillment, Reporting and Workflow tools. You will have the opportunity every single day to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and to develop a close team dynamic with coworkers from around the globe.The Impact:The Release Train Engineer position at S&P Global works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of customer value using the Scaled Agile Framework. The Release Train Engineer contributes significantly to their Agile Release Train’s success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on business priorities.What’s in it for you:An opportunity to lead experienced development teams working on front-end and/or back-end Salesforce functionality. Our OTC teams crafting the future of the Enterprise's end-to-end quote-to-cash tools and processes, integrating Salesforce CPQ & Billing with other tools to provide a seamless buying experience for our internal users and external clients.Responsibilities:
Act as a servant leader to an Agile Release Train
Educate Agile Release Trains and scrum teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from Scaled Agile practices and values
Coach Agile Release Trains and/or Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement
Guide the Agile Release Train to consistently delivery customer value
Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams
Facilitate Agile Release Train events including program increment planning, system demos/iteration reviews, inspect and adapt events, and Agile Release Train synchs.
Work with Product Managers/Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood.
Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency
Work with Solution Train Engineers, peer Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to increase the effectiveness of Scaled Agile
Support change management process for new improvements into production
Build a high-performing team which includes continuous improvement of the team dynamics and performance
Basic Qualifications:
Experience leading teams as a Release Train Engineer and/or Scrum Master
Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Experience working effectively in a dynamic development environment within large, global teams
Excellent communication & collaboration skills (presentational, active listening, ability to build consensus, and support across functions and at all levels)
Ability to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or critical issue
Aptitude for nurturing self-organizing, high performing teams via servant leadership, individual coaching and mentoring
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified SAFe Scrum Master/Release Train Engineer
BA/BS in a relevant field (business or technology) or experience, with understanding of the financial services industry
3+ years of related experience, including some managerial experience
Deep knowledge of and passion for Agile/Scrum including Agile metrics and reporting techniques

Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
