Summary:Under limited supervision analyze financial information and underwrite residential mortgage loan applications.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Analyze financial information for new residential loan requests and modifications up to established exposure limits of $2,000,000.00, or with dual signatures, up to $2,500,000.

Review loan structure to ensure that acceptable credit standards are maintained and that all loans conform to credit policy while fully mitigating exceptions to policy.

Clear open conditions on approved loan applications.

Accurately complete historical trends and moderately advanced self-employed borrower analysis, including S-Corps, C-Corps and Partnership returns as well as financially complex borrower's that own multiple entities.

Assess collateral quality and values from residential appraisal reports.

Maintain a strong working knowledge of Bank policies and pertinent lending regulations.

Maintain and grow knowledge of residential mortgage industry and residential housing trends and risks within the marketplace which may have a direct or indirect impact on the Residential Mortgage portfolio.

Possess and maintain knowledge of underwriting guidelines for all programs and products offered by ENB by monitoring agency and investor updates.

Assist in training of other Underwriters in changes to various underwriting guidelines and regulatory changes.

Ensure effective Fair Credit, CRA, and Reg B compliance.

Possess knowledge of and demonstrate thorough understanding and ability to underwrite to agency guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC and FHLB) and ENB Residential Loan Policy guidelines.

Possess knowledge of and demonstrate thorough understanding and ability to underwrite to government loan program guidelines (FHA, VA and USDA) as well as Construction-Permanent programs.

Serve as reviewer for Underwriters submitting test cases to obtain their DE or SAR designations.

Complete underwriting for HELOC and other applicable consumer products.

Ability to meet minimum underwriter production standards and ensure quality, and service level standards are met.

Deliver on organization metrics and KPIs to ensure timely and quality underwriting results:

Days assigned to when underwriting is completed;

Quality of work measured by the number of findings uncovered by Mortgage Operations Officer, pre and post-funding QC, investor audits.

Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

High school graduate required or its equivalency required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college preferred

Five or more years of mortgage industry experience

Has FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) and VA Staff Appraisal Review (SAR) designations in additional to demonstrated competence in underwriting USDA, Construction/Permanent and Conventional loans

- Working knowledge of principals of residential mortgage lending laws, bank policy, services, and products```{=html}```

- Strong presentation, negotiation, and consensus-building skills```{=html}```

- Proficiency in Microso t Outlook, Word, and Excel

- Proficient understanding of core system and Loan Origination System (LOS)

- Strong analytical ability and good attention to detail
