You will be entrusted with developing Pfizer's strategies for a portfolio of products and projects.Through your expertise and extensive knowledge, you will be able to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for Pfizer's patients and healthcare.Role DescriptionResourcing Business Partners deliver value-add business operations and resource management support services in support of the Global Product Development (GPD), Worldwide Safety and other WRDM organizations.The Resourcing Business Partner ensures resource requirements in support of the Research, Development and Commercial portfolios are properly planned and understood to facilitate informed decision-making and allocation of resources based on business priorities for the functional line they support. contributes to the achievement of business strategies and goals by partnering with applicable business leaders across key stakeholder groups to enable and enhance operational performance through effective forecasting, planning and management of organizational resources, both internal and external through Functional Service Providers.How You Will Achieve ItUtilizes business-specific portfolio and project information in the Planisware system to facilitate portfolio and resource planning reviews and deliver the Annual Operating Plan.

Delivers holistic view of resource capacity and allocation across business functional areas. Ensures potential resource capacity issues (shortfalls) are surfaced and discussed in a timely fashion

Manages resource and cost assessments related to internal Pfizer portfolio optimization opportunities (e.g., project accelerations, PSI buy-ups, etc.) for supported Functional Lines

Extracts the full value of established project and resource planning systems and processes to facilitate GPD resource decision-making in support of the Research, Development and Commercial portfolios.

Reinforces the value of the FTE Tracking (Activity Tracker), CRIS (Capacity Resource Information System) and Resource Planning & Forecasting (RAPID) programs for the business.

Partners with senior leaders and Resourcing Business Partners to ensure organizational resources are optimized and appropriately aligned to business priorities across the business functional areas.

Partners with Finance to coordinate development of the annual operating budget for global organization. Partners with Finance to support budget build activities, as required.

In partnership with Finance, perform comparison analysis of Planisware demand forecast with financial forecasts of costs ("Latest Estimate") and reconcile business drivers for explaining differences.

Support for certain functional area would require assessment of quarterly Functional Service Provider (FSP) Resource Demand Plan keying on relevant business drivers to justify resource projections, summarize changes, performs and delivers analyses summarizing forecast changes and communicates to finance and budgetary stakeholders

Proactively surfaces potential resource and cost related issues to key stakeholders and recommends go-forward actions / sourcing solutions.

Partners with subject matter experts in business lines on the design, development, and maintenance of resource estimating assumptions (algorithms), drivers, and templates for use in generating algorithmically derived demand forecasts utilizing the Planisware enterprise portfolio project management system

Must-HaveBachelor's Degree plus Minimum 9+ years of experience in business operations, resource management and/or project management discipline

Experience in use of project, resource and budget management application systems in a business environment.

Knowledge and experience with external best-practices and perspectives to support new approaches and strategies. Demonstrated ability to effectively implement tools and techniques in the project and resource management discipline.

Strong influencing and team skills, including demonstrated experience in leading and/or contributing to successful projects.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to be flexible and prioritize multiple demands.

Ability to understand and value different customer needs and provide tailored services where necessary; demonstrated customer service mentality and focus to successfully manage a customer-facing role.

Strong communications skills (written and verbal) and experience with preparing and delivering/presenting key messages to senior leaders.

Ability to effectively handle multiple and diverse business support work assignments under pressure.

Strong team player with the ability to engage functional experts across Global Product Development, and Pfizer Business Categories

Nice-to-HaveMaster's degree plus 7 years of experience

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or an understanding of the pharmaceutical drug development process and operating model a plus.

Demonstrated understanding of the both the Early and Late stage drug development process portfolio management and resource planning

Familiarity with Clinical Trial execution, Regulatory and/or Safety organizations
