Our client is looking for fully remote Ruby Developer to join their team. This is a permanent role by way of contract to hire. This person will be improving code and test quality, write and support code based on business and client specifications, collaborate with small team to address, and enhance features, and contributing to quality assurance and user acceptance testing. This is a highly visible role within the organization.Required Skills:- 4+ years Ruby experience (Ruby on Rails preferred)
- API development experience
- Git and source control management
- Familiarity with testing tools
- Ability to write code that is a pleasure for other engineers to read and understand
- A commitment to domain-driven development, continuous delivery, continuous integrations, and thorough testing
Bonus Skills:- Passion for riding motorcycles
- Proficiency in payment processing, email, and notification systems management is a plus
- Passion for motorcycles, powersports, automotive, outdoors, mapping, or similar activities
