Requires a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this PositionOur Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will develop manufacturing engineering tools, strategies and systems, floor layouts and plans for specific products and processes. This will require procedural documentation for the implementation and maintenance of methods, operational sequence and equipment calibration requirements. At GDMS, we continually seek ways to develop and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing our team's knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Strong ability to clearly recognize and report information relevant to sound manufacturing engineering design

Expectational knowledge with manufacturing and engineering systems and applications
