Senior Application Engineer (MicroE)

The position can be remote. This individual can work anywhere in North America.We're seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join our MicroElectronics Applications Engineering Team in North America. This is a pivotal role where you'll be the primary technical point of contact for our clients, leading the design of cutting-edge Ultra Pure Water (UPW) treatment solutions.You'll combine advanced technical expertise with strong customer relationship management and proven project leadership to deliver competitive, executable solutions. Working across a global, cross-functional team, you'll manage the complete bid lifecycle—from lead qualification and system design through cost estimation, internal approvals, contract execution, and project handover.Key ResponsibilitiesLead bid strategy development in partnership with Sales, qualifying opportunities and organizing resources to meet submission deadlinesTranslate customer requirements into tailored Veolia solutions, optimizing competitive positioning and value deliveryCollaborate with Process Engineering to design flowsheet processes that solve complex water treatment challengesDevelop technical documentation, including P&IDs and proposal materials that clearly communicate solution advantagesManage cost estimation by partnering with Sourcing teams to obtain quotes and finalize competitive pricingDrive proposal development by leading meetings, reviews, and cross-functional coordinationEstablish project timelines and prioritize deliverables while maintaining quality and meeting deadlinesEnsure compliance with internal bid development procedures, tracking, and forecasting protocols.
