We are seeking a Senior Applications Developer to assume a pivotal leadership role within the EBR IT Delivery Center Solutions Management Division for Revenue. In this position, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of essential business functions within the Pennsylvania Tax Hub (PATH) system. Your responsibilities include planning, controlling, directing, and implementing development projects, providing leadership to project staff throughout the systems development life cycle. Additionally, you will ensure effective utilization of hardware, software, personnel, and other resources in meeting assigned goals. The projects require the use of a COTS integrated tax processing software package.We are seeking professionals with specific expertise to assist us in reaching our objectives: experience working with the COTS integrated tax processing software package, GenTax; experience as a development team lead; experience designing and supporting various tax system components: registration, returns processing, taxpayer accounting and collections; experience gathering requirements and performing system analysis, design, documentation, development, and testing; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to function in an atmosphere of constant change with detailed accuracy; ability to function within team based organization; and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels within the organization as well as outside agencies and vendors.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with a minimum of 1 day a month in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration):or
Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or
One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
