Description:Things are really hectic at Spark Therapeutics this year. Clinical Data Scientist will be responsible for a high profile Phase III study in hemophilia for gene therapy. This is the biggest focus for Spark and Roche this year. The DM will be strong technically as well as possess leadership qualities and be able to evaluate external cro partnerships and also work hands on with the data. This person will work on the study with one other DM who is strong technically, so this person must show expertise in project management aspects of the job. Can understand database structure as well as external data sources but also handle dm responsibilities in team meeetings. They will work with this first phase iii study but their are also 2 other ongoing studies at this time and 2 other studies with database locks scheduled for this year.Skills:Clinical Data Management, Vendor Management, Clinical development, Rare Disease, Gene Therapy, querry review, SAS or Programming knowledge, technical data management softwaresTop Skills Details:Clinical Data Management,Vendor Management,Clinical developmentAdditional Skills & Qualifications: Generally, has 5+ years of clinical data management experience with a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience leading projects with increasing levels of responsibility and a thorough understanding of the processes associated with data management and reporting. Experience in rare disease or a therapeutic area of interest to Spark (e.g. hematology, immunology, neurology) is not mandatory but preferred. Familiarity with SAS and Spotfire preferred.
