Senior Data Analyst

The core responsibilities of this Data Analyst role involve the end-to-end data lifecycle for operational performance metrics and their financial impacts. This encompasses data acquisition, cleaning, and feature engineering of large datasets, including metered consumption data and water distribution system diagnostic telemetry. A primary function is the application of high-granularity data sourced from Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), SCADA and associated leak detection analytics to propose optimal resource allocation for field operations. PWD’s mission is to translate these analytical insights into actionable, data-driven strategies that directly inform asset management decisions to mitigate water loss and safeguard departmental revenue integrity.Consistent reliability during normal work hours, off-hours availability including nights weekends and holidays, along with participation in an on-call rotation is required. Maintaining a professional demeanor, customer service skills, curiosity, flexibility, and the ability to work well in teams are also necessary for this position. Other duties will be assigned as needed.
