ResponsibilitiesThe Senior IT Auditor is primarily responsible for performing assurance and advisory work on IT systems and processes, including testing internal controls, processes, and risk management. Responsibilities of the Senior IT Auditor also include executing risk assessments of the technology-related audit universe, as well as assessing risk for each engagement to determine the scope of the assurance or advisory work. The Senior IT Auditor develops audit programs, documents testing performed, as well as audit reports, and communicates audit results to Credit Union management with minimal oversight. The Senior IT Auditor represents the Audit Services Department in meetings with Credit Union stakeholders. As necessary, the Senior IT Auditor also assists in performing fraud and consumer complaint investigations.SKILLS

Strong understanding of cybersecurity processes and concepts, data governance, and application and infrastructure controls

Planning, coordinating, and performing IT audit assignments based on risk

Continued enhancement of the internal audit plan for the IT environment

Understanding of internal audit principles and risks and controls

Analytical skills to perform root cause and impact analysis to develop practical and effective recommendations

Strong written and verbal communication skills to present the results of IT audit assignments with key stakeholders

Experience building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders

Qualifications3-5 years of related experience
