Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Manager IT – Integration Delivery to join our team. This position is a hybrid work model and can be based out of the following Eaton locations: Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Raleigh NC, Moon Township PA, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI.This position is responsible for maximizing the value of Integration delivery by creating, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog pertaining to the modernization of the application integration technology ecosystem. Whether it's real time integration for advanced analytics, APIs to enable app-to-app transactions across mission critical ERPs, Event-driven data streams to consumers from application events or providing supporting ETL and ELT pipelines, this role will be core to DevOps integration delivery as we transition from on premises services to distributed cloud platforms.This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team within Eaton’s IT organization. This position will set and champion the product vision, work with key senior leaders to influence strategic business objectives, develop and maintain the product roadmap, and define key operational processes like the product release schedule.The Senior Manager is responsible for multiple products which may be managed directly or via management of other product owners.Essential Functions include: Define and champion the product vision, roadmap, and epics, working with senior leaders to craft strategic business objectives and enterprise-spanning plans to meet customer and business needs Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work Develop and maintain product-specific persona and customer journeys Work closely with business stakeholders and customers, understanding their priorities and defining business outcomes and KPIs for the product in collaboration with those key stakeholders Communicate goals for product increments and releases. Define goals for team sprints. Accountable for product support, stability, and governance: including data, policy, cybersecurity, and usage Drive definition and continuous improvement of product processes (e.g., Lean, Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps, etc.) Support a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle Manage contracts with software and service vendors to support the product strategy. Manage vendor strategy and relationship. Enablement of an application and Data Integration strategy including solutions for event-driven, batch and streaming/real-time data patterns that align to a secure, well-governed enterprise enablement framework Deliver on operational KPIs for integration delivery and support including development quality and incident resolution Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Integration & Data Mgt establishing Integration Competency Center as a central governance/standardization forum Support Operating & Enabling value stream teams to accelerate delivery implementation of complex integration pipelines Plan, manage, and track product funding and the team's time. Is fully responsible for product budget and profit planQualifications:Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution Minimum 10 years professional IT experience Previous experience managing/leading teams Experience with enablement of an application and Data Integration strategy including solutions for event-driven, batch and streaming/real-time data patterns that align to a secure, well-governed enterprise enablement framework Experience working in global matrixed Fortune 500 environment Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future. No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within 50 miles of the Eaton locations listed on the job description will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree from an accredit institution Strong understanding of and experience working with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban software delivery teams Experience supporting delivery and operational teams that can deliver on strategic application modernization while providing day to day support /enhancements Experience working with a mixture of 3rd party and cloud native technologies and ecosystems, including Azure and AWSPosition Success Criteria: Expertise with product management and modern product delivery processes Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles Strong understanding of modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services. Demonstrated delivery and operational experience for API (Application 2 Application ) integrations primarily using Apigee leveraging development languages such as Spring Delivery knowledge of complex event streaming, services, ELT and ETL patterns in technologies such Informatica IDMC and Apache Kafka Executive communication skills Strong knowledge of and experience working with design thinking methodologies Expertise with creation and management of product roadmaps Strong understanding of lean principles with respect to product and portfolio management Data orientation and ability to make data-driven decisions Passion for great customer experiences Proven ability to drive change across organizational boundariesThe expected annual salary range for this role is $153749.97 - $225499.96 a year.
