Piper Companies is looking for a

Sr. Network Engineer at a health care organization located in

Philadelphia, PA for a

hybrid full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities for the Sr. Network Engineer:

Responsible for design and development of facilities to extend and enhance the IT Infrastructure for all telephony service and support, relating to all telecommunications technology, to include: Cisco VoIP, Unity, AVST voicemail systems, ACD, IVR and traditional telecommunications systems, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.
Interacts with end-users and all levels of management in developing turn key solutions to problems or creating efficiencies pertaining to telecom processes that impact the business.

Qualifications for the Sr. Network Engineer:

5-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer
Expertise in working in and maintaining F5 and Infoblox environments
Experienced with Layer 2 spanning tree protocols PVST and RPVST+.
Experienced with Layer 3 routing protocols EIGRP running on Cisco Catalyst switches and ASR/ISR routers.
Exposure to Layer 3 BGP routing protocol a plus.
Ability to mesh and work well with other in house team members, contract, and vendor personnel.
Experience with Microsoft Visio.
Documentation skills arising from implementation and troubleshooting activities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and troubleshooting issues on a daily basis.
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred

Compensation for the Sr. Network Engineer:

• Salary $110-$120K
