Senior Process Utilities Engineer (Hybrid)

The Senior Process Utilities Engineer has a thorough understanding of the development and field implementation of documents through all project phases, sizes, and levels of complexity. The Senior Engineer possesses the ability to coordinate with internal and external parties, manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities and direct the work of others.How I will contribute? This role will be responsible for leading project design work for process utilities within life science facilities. In addition to producing drawings, this role will also be helping to mentor junior engineers and enabling their further growth and progression within their own careers. Frequently communicate and coordinate with internal and external architects and engineers, client, construction manager, subcontractor, and vendor interfacesResponsible for overseeing the discipline at a project level and managing the project discipline budget on simple to complex projects of all sizesManage and direct design staff to meet client expectations and project goalsManage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities and direct the work of othersCoordinate with internal and external parties, manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities and direct the work of othersResponsible for directing and managing the workflows and execution of design and engineering support staff (Entry-Level to Senior) to meet client expectations and project goals.Responsibility to oversee the production of deliverables or lead activities which require more experience, deeper understanding or involve more complexity such as:Layout Development for Utility RoomsSpace Planning for Pipe RoutingCapacity Planning / Expansion StrategyComplex Vendor Package ManagementParticipation in Risk AssessmentsHAZOP / HCCP / Etc.3D Model Review & CoordinationSupport site walkdowns and field reportsOversee commissioning and startup
