The Senior Project Architect candidate will have the ability to execute and lead all project types through design, documentation and construction administration as part of a multi-disciplinary team.  This position encourages creativity in problem solving to promote technical and design excellence while ensuring building code and regulatory compliance.  The Lead Architect has the ability to coordinate with internal and external parties, manage multiple complex tasks, establish priorities and direct the work of others.  The candidate will serve as the Architectural point of contact for clients, other disciplines, estimating and construction personnel. How will I contribute? This role will have the ability to successfully execute and lead (on small or large projects) all phases of design including initial programming, planning, feasibility, scope and concept development, detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration.Furthermore, the successful individual shall be able to act as the architectural point-of-contact for clients, other disciplines, and pre-con services, complete a complex project code analysis, plan and prepare bid/permit/construction deliverables (including details and specifications), and understand the technical and design aspects of CRB’s market areasWork independently on projects with ability to execute all phases of design, including programming, planning, concept development, detailed design and construction administrationGenerate complex code analyses, life safety and egress plans, floor plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules and specifications for large projects of advanced complexity with no oversightDevelop and generate studies, presentations and reports, and present to internal or external audiencesResearch and apply International Building Code and other regulatory requirements as part of project delivery processWork closely with Engineering and Construction personnel to develop and ensure coordinated and constructible designsParticipate and contribute during drawing reviews, coordination meetings and quality checksLead support for construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews and construction progress reports Assist PM in resource planning, budget and scope definition, schedule adherence and overall quality of deliverablesConduct quality checking of documents for complex projects (e.g. technical verification of design calculations, documentation, design approaches) and drive overall project qualityIdentify and resolve complex code, construction or design related challengesProvide mentorship to Architectural staffAct as Architect of Record for project assignments.
