Senior Quantitative Researchers/Developers withVIAC Services Company (Venerable) in West Chester, PA.Play an integral role in the development of propriety systems and tools to support our Variable Annuity Hedge Program including the development and maintenance of Risk Reporting Systems that enable the daily monitoring of our Enterprise Risk Profile. Responsible for derivative modeling, data warehousing, reporting systems, designing and implementing improvements, and platform maintenance. Develop P&L attribution, risk metrics and market shock scenarios for multiple derivative Instruments. Develop P&L attribution for VA liability movements based on market factors. Assist in the research of theoretical valuation methodologies and models for derivatives and/or financial instruments. Work toward developing a strong knowledge of market parameters and their impact on the value of VA Products and financial/derivative instruments within the company portfolio. Perform research, ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed. Utilize and develop proprietary code libraries for market consistent valuations, statistics, solving optimization problems, analytics and P&L attributions. Design, develop and deploy tools required to analyze strategic hedging, investment and business decisions. Implement attribution models and risk analytics into production systems and automated processes. Build automated ETL data pipelines into systems. Act as a liaison between the business and IT. Assist in managing large data sets, consulting on database structures, organizing data, working on database optimization, and testing new system components and features.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or closely related field and minimum 5 years of experience in any occupation of quantitative associate, researcher or related. Experience must include: working with scalable computational disciplines including computational finance, modeling, stochastic simulation, econometrics/regression; performing quantitative/analytic reasoning, problem-solving, and applying numerical methods to business problems; working with derivative pricing theories for various instruments; VA product features; systems design and development principles; Derivative Pricing Theories for various instruments; programming in C#, C, Python, and JavaScript; and SQL and AWS technologies.
