Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Senior Specialist Data Engineer. This position will be based at our Beachwood, Ohio, Moon TWP, PA, Houston, TX, Galesburg, MI, Raleigh, NC or Menomonee Falls, WI. The position is eligible for hybrid work setup.The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $170,000K a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:At Eaton we are modernizing the way we use data to accelerate our digital transformation. In this role, you will provide actionable and meaningful data-driven insights that represent the voice of multiple users for Industry 4.0 analytics solutions, as well as lead the end user research to elicit well-structured requirements and solution designs. Your efforts will directly translate to increased shop productivity, delivery, quality, safety, and optimized inventory as well as incorporate advanced analytics for use cases like preventative maintenance and establishing a manufacturing digital thread.You will partner with and define personas ranging from shop floor users to general managers and site executives to build a comprehensive analytics strategy for manufacturing analytics across 200+ manufacturing shops. Additionally, you will execute alongside Product Owners and development teams to ensure high-quality delivery of features and solutions that exceed expectations and delight a wide range of internal stakeholders. Your efforts will lead Eaton into the modern era of digital solutions for manufacturing, establishing our analytics portfolio as a strategic differentiator among our competitors and realizing the power of data to drive exceptional business results.Job Responsibilities: Demonstrable experience within User Experience design/Interaction Design for Enterprise business solutions. Excellent prototyping and layout skills which can be articulated clearly to internal business stakeholders, product and development teams Experience at translating customer requirements into an actionable user experience design Strong advocacy of customer inclusivity and accessibility Strong ability to see designs through to delivery – communicating with developers to ensure designs meet specifications Collaborate with product teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience. Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks. Regularly communicate and reinforce status, prioritization, and timing back to program and organizational leaders of critical success measures, issues, and mitigation strategies. Regularly interact with business stakeholders to establish processes and advancing product capability / usability centered on designing and delivering solutions that balance strategic and customer driven needs. Drives discussions and improvements around change management, continuous Improvement, scalability, reliability, performance, and quality. Provides guidance / support locally within the region and globally as required to guide and troubleshoot complex problems in a timely manner.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution

Minimum eight (8) years of data/application management

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience on data platforms such as: Snowflake, Azure, PowerBi Experience working with Kafka preferred. Experience working on enterprise data projects (data warehouses/master data management, others) with hands-on data analysis, and profiling skills using SQL.
