CAI is looking for a ServiceNow System Administrator in the Hershey, Pa. area.This person needs to be on site 2 days a week, with the rest of the time remote.This is a long term position on our existing team of 5.Details below:

Summary:The primary responsibility of the IT ServiceNow Administrator is the day-to-day administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This will include supporting processes like but not limited to; ITOM, Discovery, Event, Request, Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Service Portal, GRC, SECOPS, ITBM, Virtual Agent, Performance Analytics, ITAM (SAM/HAM), Perdictive AIOps, Workspaces and other service modules and integrations via Integration Hub.

Required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to speak (verbally and written) to a broad range of technical and non-technical stake holders regarding the best practice use cases on the ServiceNow Platform. Ability to formally present data to a broad range of stokeholds, platform users, technical teams, and Sr. leadership members with a clear, concise and relevant technical level of detail for the audience.
  • Minimum 4 years of administration experience with ServiceNow, with day to day operation and support of ServiceNow, providing point of contact for assigned modules, incident, request, and demands for new development demands and solutions.
  • Experience administrating the newer functions of the ServiceNow platform including but not limited to, Workspaces, HAM/SAM, ITOM, ITAM, Integration Hub and ServiceMapping.
  • Experience planning and executing ServiceNow platform upgrades with upgrade processes aligned to ServiceNow best practices. Addressing skipped update sets, planning workstreams and managing Hi portal records facilitating the successful completion of the SerivceNow platform upgrade. Documenting upgrade findings, and collaboratively working with module and business owners on review and decision process for action to upgrade benefits, features and skipped update sets.
  • 4-5 years’ experience in the Information Technology field required.
  • Collaboratively work with Agile/Scrum teams to develop and implement design solutions to fulfill business requirements and test, analyze, collaborate and assist with translating those business requirements into technical requirements to ensure a smooth implementation of new enhancements, applications, modules, or integrations of new services with other platforms.
  • Minimum 4 years experience with requirements gathering and analysis, solution design, development task management, quality assurance, and release management.
  • Execute testing plans in support of The Client Companies published testing policy.
  • Day to day review, allocation and consultation with development team on developing technical and functional requirements for demands and projects, ensuring testing and change control is completed is compliant with client published IS policies.
  • Working with business partners and development team members on right size and best case development standards are followed. Ensuring client’s customers receive timely updates on the development process.

Preferred
  • Understanding of workflow administration and troubleshooting, creating and maintaining SLAs.
  • Current ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certificate a plus.
  • Ability to code/develop custom functions, features and API integrations on the ServiceNow platform a plus.
  • Experience and understanding of the underlying ServiceNow platform architecture as it relates to business rules, script includes, server/client scripts, form design, and layouts, workflows, SLA’s, tasks.

Education:
  • BS or equivalent + 4 yrs related experience
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification preferred
  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification is required

Summary of major duties:· 70% Day to day operational support of the ServiceNow platform supporting incidents and the internal ServiceNow demand mgmt process. With a focus on ITOM, ITAM, GRC, and Sec Ops and all the sub- components there in. · 10% Project, module, or application development project roles including but not limited to testing, implementation, migration to PRD, knowledge documentation, and ongoing support of project-related functionality into the ITxM platform or ServiceNow. · 10% Planning, executing, communicating and working collaboratively internally to the ITSM team, and with partners in IS on the testing and implementation of client’s yearly ServiceNow platform upgrade. · 10% Monitoring, reporting, and enhancement of KPI for assigned modules, areas of responsibility and continuous improvement of systems process, policies and procedures supported by those KPIs. Identifying opportunity's to drive higher ROI, utilization and customer satisfaction around the use and features on the ServiceNow platform.
