Shipping Receiving Clerk

Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing and distribution industry, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist , you will be part of the Warehouse Operations Department supporting the Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Management teams . The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Shipping & Receiving SpecialistLocation: Olean, NYPay: $16.50Shift: 6am-2:30pmWhat’s the Job?

Operate mechanical equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.

Receive, transfer, and ship inventory according to standard operating procedures.

Maintain computerized inventory records and conduct physical counts.

Inspect shipments for damage and quality issues, communicating problems to supervisors.

Participate in root cause analysis and ensure safety standards are met.

What’s Needed?

High School Diploma or Equivalency.

Proficient operation of power industrial truck/equipment.

Experience with SAP or similar inventory management software.

Ability to perform basic math and navigate computer systems.

Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
