The Case Manager must be able to continually monitor cases and ensure the timeliness of the workflow product through all stages of the case. In addition, the SIU Case Manager is responsible for meeting internal billing goals monthly, creating accurate funding records for all items billable to the client, and sound management of their assigned case inventory. The CM is required to develop professional relationships with supported customers at the adjuster and manager level. The perfect candidate for this role will have an in-depth understanding of suspect and non-suspect claims investigations and will be able to communicate effectively to claims staff with the ability to use discretion and sound judgment to resolve conflict. A four-year college degree is preferred with demonstrated experience conducting complex insurance investigations including Commercial Property and Auto Claims.  WHY WORK FOR US

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Work directly with the client Claims staff to identify, detect, and resolve suspected fraudulent claims.

Use independent judgment to define and confirm client objectives (including due dates) on all new, reopen, and investigative referral cases.

Work with the SIU division to identify organized criminal activity and multi-claim fraud as well as recognizing and referring prosecutorial opportunities.

Conduct and oversee SIU investigations and provide appropriate technical direction, support, and resources to the assigned field investigator.

Continually monitor cases to ensure timely and efficient processing of the work product through the various production stages.

Run appropriate database inquiries if necessary and verify the accuracy of results.

Coordinate, develop, and outline a strategy for assignment objectives and offer expert advice to clients regarding investigations.

Aid the assigned field investigator to ensure positive results.

Ensure work quality within the SIU, Corporate, and Claims units.

Executes process management under Service Level Agreement metrics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

Ability to become a licensed Private Investigator in their resident state.

The successful candidate must have the ability to plan and coordinate complex investigations and lead others to follow investigative plans.

A four-year college degree (Criminal Justice preferred) is desired.

Anti-Fraud designations such as CIFI, CFE, FCLA, SCLA, etc. desired.

In-depth knowledge of Insurance Fraud Claims Investigations, and Insurance Fraud Statutes.

Detailed knowledge of field investigations, including but not limited to: preliminary research, set up, intelligence gathering, lead development, interviewing, and professional report writing.

Four additional years of sustained performance as an insurance investigator, corporate investigator, police officer, or military investigations (CID, OSI, NCIS) officer may be substituted for two of the four years of required formal education.

Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong computer skills using the internet, Microsoft suite, MS Word, Excel, and Teams.

Ability to remain highly productive in a changing environment, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and maintaina high level of confidentiality

Ability to learn new software operating systems.
