As a Software Architect Sr - Salesforce within PNC's Asset Management Group organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus or anywhere within the PNC footprint including remote.Your responsibilities will cross the industry disciplines of solution, application, data, integration, and business. You will be required to interact with technology teams to deliver innovative solutions built on our next generation architectures. You will be required to interact with business and technology partners, setting direction, gaining consensus, and leading our technology organization.In your role, you will draw upon your leadership experience to drive others. Self-direction is required. You will also work closely with architects and developers to ensure that all technology initiatives are implemented within the existing or planned framework for each project. You will be required to understand complex systems and the interactions with other complex systems as well as the architecture competencies we will grow within the team.You will develop long-range strategies based on technical trends and business forecasts. All the while, you'll enjoy visibility to senior technology and business sponsors, as well as several service partners and vendor partners.Qualifications: 8 years' experience with Salesforce.com; 2 years' experience as a technical architect Working background in various architecture disciplineso Application Delivery, Solution Design, Data, Cyber Security, Mobile, Events Platform, APIs The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, analytical, detail/results oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and strong work ethic Highly motivated self-starter and an evangelist for "doing things right" with a passionate desire to understand and deliver high quality solutions that meet customer needs Experience with agile and DevOps practices Knowledge of APEX, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Aura, Platform Events, API Integration Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Experience with CICD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II and Salesforce Advanced AdministratorAdditional experience desired (not required): Tableau Application Exchange Products Experience with Cloud Native ArchitectureJob Description- Leads in the overall design of cross-functional, multi-platform, and Web-based application systems; oversees all application system processes.
- Develops application architecture and blueprints aimed at reflecting enterprise business logic.
- Defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. Directs mapping activities on specific technology platforms.
- Provides technical guidance to application development teams. Consults on integration and conversion activities.
- Conducts reviews, and analyses organizational needs and goals to develop and implement applications.

Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years. Specific certifications are often required.
