Job Description: Software Developer

FULLY REMOTE

Schedule• Days: M-F• Hours per week: 8-5PM EST• Flexible hours: fully remote• OT: as-needed• Weekends/Travel: as-needed

Extension/Conversion:Preferred but manager is open to all candidates - This position is contract with the right to hire if a need becomes available. Manager will only look at candidates that are open to converting to a full time PNC employee. PNC will not sponsor work visas if the decision is made to hire the contingent worker.

Description:
  • Practical experience with updated front end languages - Javascript, HTML, CSS, PHP, Python
  • Practical experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 8+, React, Vue, or Amber
  • Practical experience with middle layer technology Spring Boot, Spring MVC, microservices, REST, SOAP
  • Practical experience with backend technology NoSQL, Oracle, node.js, python
  • Practical experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery model - Maven, Jenkins, GIT, etc.
  • Azure cloud experience a plus
  • Elasticsearch experience a plus
  • Cloud experience a plus - working with containers, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc
  • Automation skills a plus - Selenium, cucumber, Karma, Karate, Ansible, etc.
  • Agile experience a plus
  • Ability to point story based on given requirements
  • Strong design thinking skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication skills
Degrees/Certifications/Years of Overall Experience Required:• HS Diploma w/certification or tech boot camp is ok• Bachelor's preferred (software engineering, computer science, and/or related field)• HS Diploma - 5+ years of work & Bachelor's - 3+ years of work exp.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Attend agile ceremonies
  • Developing based on the agile stories
  • Working on code compliance
  • Worker would work on 2 applications
